BEHIND THE BUILD: I'm a Sydney based bike builder. I enjoy taking unconventional modern bikes and giving them a completely new look. I have in the past built a cafe racer out of a 2012 KTM Duke 690 which i am pretty proud of. this latest build i was really inspired by 80's GP bikes and superbikes of that era. i chose a cbr600rr because it has an undertail exhaust which means not much electrics in the tail to mess around with and a tank shroud so i didnt have to make a new fuel tank. the tail section is made up of at least 10 different pieces of fiberglass i hand made off of bucks and moulds i had made. the tank shroud is a highly modified piece of race glass. the subframe is a custom built one off piece made out of aluminium. i have plans to build a twin headlight race fairing in the near future.
